I became a fan of Isla Fisher in early 2007. I had always known of her but somehow I never caught one of her movies - until coincidentally seeing many of her performances back to back. I just fell under Isla's spell: I think she's got a great screen presence, a fabulous comedic timing and an eye for fun roles. She also seems like such a down to earth lady who values her family and privacy - but does not take herself too seriously. I wanted to start this site because there simply were no active Isla sites and I wanted to both offer the fans an often updated site but also learn more about Isla myself.

I saw Wedding Crashers when it was out in theatres and I thought Isla was the funniest element in the whole movie and I couldn't wait to see more of her. But it wasn't until the dear Riikka became a huge fan and was sending me photos, quotes and told me to watch more of her films that I, too, fell for her! Isla is such a quirky, funny and cute actress and it's such fun with women who do not take themselves dead serious and have a huge doze of self irony. When Riikka asked if I wanted to do the site with her I just had to accept and it has been so much fun getting to know Isla better and it will be very interesting to see what the future will hold for Ms Fisher.
