Isla Fisher is recognizable to the moviegoing population as the psychotic woman who becomes obsessed with Vince Vaughn in the 2005 smash hit Wedding Crashers. In the new romantic comedy Definitely, Maybe, she's on familiar romantic comedy turf but as a different, far more down to earth character. She plays April, a wise-cracking but earnest young woman who sparks a platonic friendship with Will (Ryan Reynolds) that spans through the years as he goes through several serious relationships, played by Elizabeth Banks and Rachel Weisz. April goes through several of her own, but which of the three women Will ultimately winds up with is a central mystery to the film not to be spoiled here. ...continue reading

Isla Fisher didn't shed her pregnancy pounds through a grueling celebrity-mandated regimen of sweat and starvation.

You know them? It's night and day!" Fisher says of her tummy-smoothing undergarments. ...continue reading

The Isla Fisher Definitely, Maybe Interview: Mum About Her Borat Baby

Petite and perky Aussie starlet Isla Fisher was glowing and chatty when she stopped by for this conversation at the Regency Hotel in NYC, about her new Adam Brooks romantic comedy, Definitely, Maybe. But the first time mom clammed up when questioned about brand new motherhood with the birth of Olive, and engagement to babydaddy boyfriend Sacha Baron Cohen, famously known as that on-screen mischief maker Borat. Isla did conversely open up and come clean with far too much information, about all that dirty work connected to her first gig ever, and it has something to do with collecting horse poop, don't ask. She also touched on some touchy subjects like swag, boobs and naughty Bill Clinton. ...continue reading

ISLA Fisher is delirious with happiness – quite literally.
The heavily pregnant actor, whose burgeoning belly is evident in her tight-fitting violet top and fitted jeans, happily volunteers that the latter stage of impending motherhood has left her quite forgetful.
The Wedding Crashers scene-stealer can do a lot more than make Vince Vaughn sweat.
Isla Fisher's voice is hoarse from coughing, and the tip of her nose is red. She looks around for a tissue. "Do you think I can use this?" she asks, holding up her napkin. It is the extra-thick restaurant kind—paper masquerading as cloth. "I guess they're not going to recycle it, huh?" Sitting in a vinyl booth at a faux-retro diner, Fisher explains that she spent the past week in bed with a cold at her rented Los Angeles home, reading chick lit ("one of those Shopaholic books"). ...continue reading
