Arrested Development Gets Official Netflix Premiere Date and an Extra Episode
That noise you hear is the sound of Arrested Development fans clearing their schedules in late May.
Netflix announced early Thursday that the show’s upcoming fourth season will be available simultaneously on Sunday, May 26.
What’s more, the episode order has grown yet again, from 14 to 15 episodes.
As previously reported, each episode will focus on a single AD character (although other Bluths will weave in and out).
In addition to the core cast returning, guest stars on tap for the revival include Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Liza Minnelli (aka Lucille 2), Conan O’Brien, John Slattery (Mad Men), Chris Diamantopoulos (24), Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers) and Terry Crews (Everybody Hates Chris).

Netflix that the new “anthology” season of Arrested Development will arrive — all 15 episodes at once — on May 26. The show, which ran on Fox from 2003 to 2006 and won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series, will bring back its entire cast, including Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Jeffrey Tambor, Michael Cera, David Cross, and many, many more.
A new cast poster for The Great Gatsby was released yesterday, and today has also brought us a 3rd trailer for the film! This trailer feels a bit different to the previous two, and tells us a bit more about the story and relationship between Daisy and Gatsby. There is a very brief new shot of Isla in it, along with the previous spoilery footage. Watch the trailer below, and find HD screencaptures from it in the Gallery.
The Hollywood premiere for the film will be held on May 8th. Premieres in Sydney and Cannes will follow, and I’m sure there will be more too.
The Great Gatsby soundtrack roster is packed: In addition to the previously-mentioned Beyoncé and André 3000 cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black”, the Jay-Z-orchestrated tracklist includes new, original songs by Jay himself, the xx, and Florence and the Machine. There’s also the Jack White cover of U2′s “Love Is Blindness” (previously featured in the movie’s first trailer), and a Bryan Ferry cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love”.
It also features a new song by Lana Del Rey titled “Young and Beautiful”. Del Rey worked closely with director Baz Luhrmann on the song, which is out as a single April 23. The soundtrack is out digitally on May 7 in the U.S., and May 6 internationally. The 17-track deluxe edition will only be available at Target.
The film hits theaters on May 10.

Another batch of character posters for The Great Gatsby have recently been released, including a sultry close-up shot of Myrtle. You can view this in our Gallery, and see the other 5 for Gatsby, Daisy etc. at ComingSoon.net. I think Gatsby promotion is going to pick up in the next month, so we probably have a lot to look forward to!
