I have now added over 120 HQ photos from last week’s London premiere of Rise Of The Guardians to our Gallery. Isla looked fabulous and classy in a white lace Dolce & Gabbana dress with Sergio Rossi heels and a Bulgari clutch, and posed alongside director Peter Ramsey and co-star Chris Pine. Check out the pretty HQ photos in our Gallery, and watch some videos from the event further down this post.
Below are 3 more promotional video interviews for Rise Of The Guardians. I’ve also added two new press interviews to promote the film to our Press page. We’re really being treated with Isla goodies at the moment!
Screencaptures from these vids
will be up in the Gallery asap. are now in the Gallery.
Ok, so Isla does only voice a character in this film, but I know some people are interested in seeing photos from her voice work, so I have updated our Gallery with some new Rise Of The Guardians photos. So I’ve added a few stills plus a couple of new posters, but the main new additions are screencaptures from the featurettes and b-roll that feature Isla herself. We also have a great new publicity shot of Isla alongside her character Tooth. Having watched the featurettes now I have to admit that I will probably go and see this movie – it looks like it’s magical Christmas fun!

Fisher: I’m sentimental about Bay
Isla Fisher has revealed that she doesn’t mind if people remind her of her days on Home And Away, unlike former co-star Melissa George.
The 36-year-old actress, who played Shannon Reed in the Australian soap from 1994 to 1997, has since carved out a successful career in Hollywood, starring in comedies like Wedding Crashers, Hot Rod and Confessions Of A Shopaholic.
“I feel like everything in the past has led me to where I am today, and I’m incredibly grateful for that experience and that exposure,” she said at the UK premiere of her latest film Rise Of The Guardians.
Isla, who voices the Tooth Fairy in the animated feature, added: “I’ve been lucky that the people that remember that part of my life feel quite sentimental about it, so I always feel super-sentimental about it too.
“To be honest, no one has really brought it up for years. When people come up to me now, it’s for Wedding Crashers, not Home And Away.”
Melissa, who played Angel Parrish from 1993 to 1996, was not happy after she was recently asked about her soap days on Australian talk show The Morning Show.
The first official trailer for Now You See Me was released yesterday! It looks gripping, don’t you think?! Plus I just love this cast.
There is also now an official site for the film at NowYouSeeMeMovie.com.
Watch the trailer below, and
check back for screencaptures in our Gallery later today (I’ll edit this post with them)…. find HD screencaptures, plus the new stills from the official site, in our Gallery!
Jumping back a few months, after encoding our video from Live With Kelly & Michael yesterday I remembered I had a video from Isla’s appearance on The View in September waiting to be uploaded. This appearance wasn’t available anywhere online that I could find, so the lovely and wonderful Haylie helped me out and made us an exclusive video! Isla appeared on the show to promote Bachelorette with her co-stars Kirsten Dunst and Lizzy Caplan. It was a fun interview, and I personally can’t get enough of the Isla & Kirsten interviews, they seemed to have become good friends! So now you can download, watch and enjoy ….
Isla Fisher in talks to pull ‘The Switch’
“Bachelorette” star Isla Fisher is in talks to join John Hawkes and Jennifer Aniston in writer-director Dan Schechter’s untitled adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s 1978 novel “The Switch.”
Crime drama, which will serve as a prequel to Quentin Tarantino’s “Jackie Brown,” stars Hawkes and Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def) as younger versions of Robert De Niro and Samuel L. Jackson’s respective characters Louis Gara and Ordell Robbie, who also appear in Leonard’s novel “Rum Punch.”
Set 15 years before the events in “Jackie Brown,” story follows career criminals Ordell and Louis as they team up to kidnap Mickey Dawson (Aniston), the wife of a corrupt Detroit real estate developer. When the husband refuses to pay the ransom for his wife’s return, the ex-cons are forced to reconceive their plan, and the angry housewife uses the duo to get her revenge.
Should a deal make, Fisher would play Melanie, the same character played by Bridget Fonda in “Jackie Brown.” As the kidnapping and subsequent blackmail unravels, the loyalty-free, manipulative Melanie begins to interfere in subtle and unpredictable ways.
Ty Burrell is attached to co-star as a witness to Aniston’s kidnapping, while Dennis Quaid has exited the project due to scheduling conflicts with his CBS series “Vegas.”
The Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Lee Stollman are producing with Michael Siegel and Leonard, while Jim Garavente will exec produce. Production is now tentatively skedded to start in February.
Fisher, who voices the female lead in DreamWorks Animation’s “Rise of the Guardians,” will next be seen in Summit’s magician heist pic “Now You See Me” and as Myrtle Wilson in Baz Luhrmann’s “The Great Gatsby,” which Warner Bros. opens in 3D on May 10.
Fisher is repped by CAA, Mosaic, Shanahan Management and attorney Warren Dern.
I’ve some luck in finding more photos from the Rise Of The Guardians New York premiere, and these 10 HQ photos have just been added to the Gallery. I’m surprised there weren’t more press at the event – it seems quite strange.
I’ve also posted a video from the event further down this post.

Isla appeared on Live With Kelly & Michael on Monday, to chat about Rise Of The Guardians, and I have now put together coverage for you! Big big thanks goes to my friend Colleen for making us a video of the appearance. From this I have been able to upload an exclusive downloadable video for you, plus screencaptures. We also have a few stills from the taping.
It was a short but nice interview – Isla talked about fitting yoga into her daily life as a mum, training as a clown, and then what attracted her to Rise Of The Guardians. It’s really great to see her on a big chat show again!
