Hello Isla fans! I’ve been working hard on the site for you recently. The new Gallery should be ready in a couple of weeks. I’ve also been working on our content, and the Fun section is now (mostly) complete! There are lots of fun things in there for you to play around with, including games, polls, quizzes, things for you to send in your opinions on etc.. Check out our Dress-Up Isla page if you’re a fashion fan, send in your Fan Experiences if you’ve met Miss Fisher, test how well you know Isla’s movie quotes, play as Becky Bloomwood and beat the debt collector in our Shopaholic Tic Tac Toe, grab a fansign to show your love for Isla, tell us what your favourite project is, and so much more! I’ve tried to pack this section with as many games and fun things as I can, so I hope it keeps you busy for a while and you enjoy it!

Pages for Look-a-likes, Through The Years and With Other Celebrities will be up soon. Speaking of Look-a-likes, if you know of any/think a certain celebrity looks like Isla/seen a celeb wear the same outfit as Isla/etc. then please get in touch and help me build that page.

A while ago I think I mentioned that I was planning to completely re-vamp our Gallery here at Isla Fisher Web. Before I was given the chance to take over this site, I had already gathered a lot of photos of Isla to start my own fansite, so upon taking over this site I decided it would probably be easiest if I downloaded everything from this gallery, sorted it with what I had, and then re-uploaded everything. I thought it would be best to upload it to a fresh gallery, so you can look forward to a sparkly brand new Gallery to browse through! A lot of appearance photos and film set/stills photos have been replaced with high quality versions, and we will also have several new photos that weren’t in the old Gallery. Another difference is that the Gallery will be separate from the Videos.

I’ve been working hard on the new Gallery in the last few weeks, and it’s almost ready to go! As I continue to work on this new Gallery I will be deleting albums from the old Gallery as I add those photos to the new Gallery. So this post is just to let you know that the photos in the current Gallery will gradually disappear, but fear not, they will be available again in about a week in the new Gallery. I hope this doesn’t cause too much inconvenience for you.

As I posted about a couple of days ago, Rango is released on DVD/blu-ray combo this coming Friday (July 15th). Well today you have the chance to win a copy here at Isla Fisher Web! Thanks to Sharon at M80 and Paramount Home Entertainment, we have ONE copy of the DVD/blu-ray to give away to a lucky US visitor.

I have a small but fun update for you today. I’ve continued working on our content and have skipped on to the Fun section, a section designed to provide you with hours (hopefully!) of fun Isla themed games and interactive pages! For today, I’ve added our Caption This page, a Favourite Outfit page, and 12 Puzzles. Make sure you get your thinking caps on and send in a Caption, and/or give us your fashion opinions on which outfit is your favourite, on those 2 new pages.

As promised I am working hard on getting all our content in absolute tip-top shape! It’s going to take some time, but I hope you will think it’s worth it. So far, I have completed the (admittedly most boring) Web/Site section, with information on Isla Fisher Web, a ‘Site Search’ page to help you browse through this site easily to find what you’re looking for, our fabulous affiliates, and other web related features. Our affiliates page has been updated, so if you’ve finished your visit here then why not browse through them to find some other fun fansites!

Next up is the Style section. The Accessories page is complete, and the basis of the Hairstyles page is also done. There are a few more pages to work on in there, including some completely new ones such as the Style Rundown and Movie Looks pages. I’m also working on a Top 10 Outfits page, so if you’d like to share your favourite looks from Isla’s public appearances then don’t hesitate to get in touch (post a comment here or email me) and I will include the outfits that get the most mentions.

Just a reminder that while many of the content pages within the site are linked, most of them will give you an error page at the moment, as they are not properly up yet! Please bear with me, as everything will be working soon. And finally, if you have any suggestions for content you’d like to see here at IFW then you know what to do!!

After 2 years with the previous layout, as you can see we now have a fabulous new layout here at Isla Fisher Web! This bold and beautiful layout was made for us by former owner Mycah, and I love it! I think it really matches Isla’s vibrant, bold and colourful personality. So I hope you lovely visitors enjoy it too – leave a comment if you’d like to say something!

Along with the new layout comes a major site re-vamp – almost. I’m converting the content over to a new format (won’t make a difference for you, don’t worry) and updating and adding to it as I do so. This is taking a while, though! So you can see what’s to come on each of the sections linked in the navigation, but none of the pages work yet. I’m getting to work on it asap, so please be patient. Once this is done Isla Fisher Web will be brimming with all the fun and informative Isla content you could hope for!

I’ll also be re-vamping the Gallery/Media section, but look out for more news on that in the near future.

Professionally it’s been a very quiet year for Miss Isla, although personally she’s (reportedly) had a pretty fantastic year, what with a marriage and new baby! Early next we’ll be treated to hearing Isla in the animated comedy Rango, and hopefully we’ll get some other new projects too. Thanks for your support of Isla Fisher Web this year – the site has undergone a change in owner and I hope to continue bringing you the best on Isla in 2011!

Hi everyone! Isla Fisher Web has undergone a change in owners, so I want to introduce myself, Jess, as that new owner! I’ve been a fan of Isla for around 15 years – being a big Home & Away fan, I watched and loved her as Shannon on the Aussie soap, and have followed her career ever since. She’s kind of a face I’ve grown up with, and it’s great seeing what she’s doing in Hollywood now. I’d been considering making my own fansite for her, but when the opportunity came to take over this one I had to take it.

Mycah & Riikka have of course done a fabulous job on this site, and I hope to continue that whilst also adding in an extra bit of Isla ‘spark’ to the site. I’ll be converting the content pages to a new format (which makes no change for you, but makes it easier for me to update) and updating them and adding new content soon. I’ll also be working on the Gallery and probably splitting the Gallery and Video section into two separate places. I’m pretty sure I have some photos that aren’t already in the Gallery, so stay tuned for some great additions and rarities.

As always, Isla news is slow at the moment. For now, though, I’ve added a new photoshoot to the Gallery, which was taken for Isla’s Flare magazine spread last year. I love the fiery look Isla has in them!

Yesterday, February 3, 2010 was Isla’s 34th Birthday! We want to wish her a very happy (belated) birthday. Hope she had a wonderful day!

Also, this site celebrated two years online yesterday as well. Isla Fisher Web was launched on her birthday in 2008.
