"I love it when a beautiful designer dresses me. But these days, it's more like getting in the car and realizing the burp cloth is still on my left shoulder.

Isla fans, I have a treat for you today! Thanks to my fabulous friend Maria we have over 2,000 gorgeous HD/blu-ray quality screencaptures of Isla as Becky Bloomwood in Confessions Of A Shopaholic! Isla is so so good in this movie, I’m sure you’ll all remember and agree – she has some brilliant facial expressions and just shows that she is a master at physical comedy. Plus she looks gorgeous! Which is why we have quite a lot of caps, to capture all those funny expressions.
I’m still hoping they do a sequel!
We are very lucky to have these in HD, so get browsing because I’m sure you’ll love these snapshots!! Enjoy
We now have official confirmation that Isla will indeed be playing Myrtle in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby re-make, as she was spotted on the set in Australia earlier this week! She was seen in full hair and make-up (FULL-ON hair and make-up, too!) on Wednesday, and I’ve added 3 photos from this on set sighting to our Gallery. What do you all think of Isla’s look here? Are you excited for this movie?
Whilst doing a little search for Isla on Twitter, I came across a link to the article posted below about a possible Wedding Crashers sequel. Both of the sources (the website and the “eye witness”) are highly suspicious and not what I’d call at all trustworthy, but it’s still interesting to read about the possibility of a sequel. If there IS any further news on this be sure we’ll keep you updated here as reliably as possible!
Isla Fisher hints at Wedding Crashers 2
It has been suggested that there could well be a follow up to the hit 2005 comedy Wedding Crashers after one of the movies stars, Isla Fisher was overheard talking about the possibility of a sequel. The movie would be a definite hit after the success of Wedding Crashers.
An eye witness explained, “I’m a massive fan of Isla Fisher and when I saw her I couldn’t help but “accidentally” overhear her conversation and she was saying something about being offered the chance to return for Wedding Crashers 2 but she didn’t go into details about it.”
Wedding Crashers, which also starred Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, made $283 million worldwide and a sequel would obviously be very profitable. However, the storyline would be a stumbling block as the main characters crash weddings to pick up girls but both men ended up with their dream girl at the end of the movie. If Wedding Crashers 2 does get the go ahead, do not expect to see it before 2015.
For today’s update I have uploaded another batch of HQ appearance photos. They range from rare HQs from some 1999 events, to gorgeous additions from more recent events. View some of the more notable additions through the links and thumbnails below, and click here for our Last Uploads page, to see everything that’s been added.
We also have a scan from a 2009 issue of Italian Vanity Fair, and a previously unseen photo from a Burke & Hare promotional photoshoot. I’m hoping we’ll be able to get our hands on more from that photoshoot soon! Maybe they’ll be used to promote the film for it’s upcoming US theatrical release.
As promised, I have screencaps from some of Isla’s early UK tv work for you – today I have capped her short appearance in the first episode of Hearts & Bones, a relationship drama screened in the UK in 2000. Isla played ‘Australian Barmaid’, and only had a couple of scenes and no lines. There isn’t much else to say on this role, so just go have a browse of our exclusive screencaps…!
EDIT: Oops, I just realised I missed a couple of short scenes. So another 12 caps have been added
We have another new role rumour! These reports are saying Isla will be starring in a new indie wedding comedy, and from the sounds of it it will show off her fabulous comedic talents … I can already see her in this role! To top it off she’ll be co-starring with the wonderful Kirsten Dunst.
Beware of the Bridesmaids! Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, Casey Wilson and Lizzie Caplan to Star in Film Adaptation of Bachelorette
Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, Casey Wilson and Lizzie Caplan are set to star in a feature film adaptation of Leslye Headland’s off-Broadway hit Bachelorette, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Headland has penned the screenplay and will direct. Production is currently underway in New York.
Bachelorette follows a group of twentysomething women who come together in a lavish hotel on the eve of their friend’s wedding. The girls however have always disliked the bride-to-be, who they’ve known since high school, and spend their drug and booze-fueled night ridiculing her, while partying with a pair of guys they meet outside the hotel.
Dunst (Spider-Man) will play the bride, Regan, with Caplan (TV’s Party Down, Mean Girls) and Fisher (Wedding Crashers) as strung-out roommates Gena and Katie. Wilson (TV’s Happy Endings, Saturday Night Live) will take on the role of the maid of honor, Becky. The cast also features James Marsden (Hairspray) as Trevor, Adam Scott (TV’s Parks and Recreation) as Clyde and Kyle Bornheimer (TV’s Perfect Couples) as Joe. (The play featured only two male roles, Jeff and Joe.)
Whilst searching for some old Isla goodies the other day, I came across a real treat – clips from one of her very first (if not her first – depends on the dates!) TV roles! They are 3 short but fantastic clips from Paradise Beach, in which Isla played Robyn back in 1993. On top of that, there is a behind the scenes video showing the cast on their last day of filming, and some of them, including Isla, record messages for their cast members. Looks like Robyn was an interesting character for Isla to play … just watch the clips from the last episode!
These are a real vintage Isla Fisher treat, so enjoy!!
Our Rango contest is now CLOSED, and it’s time to announce the lucky winner! *drum roll* The Rango DVD/blu-ray combo goes to Allison in Montana! She correctly answered that Isla imagined her character Beans as the lovechild of Hollywood stars Clint Eastwood and Holly Hunter. We hope you enjoy your DVD/blu-ray Allison!
Big thanks goes again to Sharon at M80 and Paramount Home Entertainment for allowing us to run this contest for Isla Fisher Web visitors.
Early last week Isla attended the premiere of the new off-Broadway show All New People in New York City, to support her Shopaholic co-star Krysten Ritter who stars in the play. I’ve added a few photos from the event to our (old) Gallery for you!
Isla and her family are currently living in New York City whilst her husband films his new movie.
