I have no idea if there is any truth to this article, especially as Isla and Sacha are such private people. But since there is not a whole lot going on in the Isla world at the moment, I thought I’d post anyhow.
Sacha Baron Cohen and fiancee Isla Fisher have been forced to postpone their wedding over religious issues, MailOnline has learned.
The Hollywood-based couple, who welcomed a daughter last year, originally planned to tie the knot later this summer.
But they have decided to delay the nuptials because Isla, 32, has yet to convert to the Ali G star’s faith of Judaism.
A source said: ‘Isla was supposed to spend her time after giving birth hard at work on her Torah studies, and that’s gone far slower than expected.
‘It’s very much frustrated her future in-laws, especially Sacha’s parents, who were really hoping for a wedding this summer.’
The source added: ‘Right now there’s no wedding date set because Isla hasn’t fully converted yet, and even though she’s working at it part time, she’s are far from being close to complete with her studies.’
I’ve added four new articles/interviews with our lovely redhead, which include some quotes about co-star Ryan Reynolds, and how much Isla liked to work with him. She also talks about her family in one of the article and tells us that she likes bands like Oasis and Nirvana! One of the article contained a new photoshoot picture so click on the thumbnail next to here to view it
“Everybody is in love with Ryan Reynolds,” Isla Fisher told me. “I just think if you open the dictionary and look up the world ‘smoldering,’ you should see his name. He’s gorgeous.”
“And also being kind of little and having red hair, you get teased a lot, and making jokes is a way to turn it around. I don’t mind making a fool of myself: let’s just put it that way!”
“I still write. I’d love to write more trashy chick-lit. At the moment I just rewrite my own lines, which probably annoys most directors - though, thankfully not Adam Brooks!”
Both are great reads, especially USA Today. Isla talks about Hollywood’s body fascism, her love for Juno and privacy. It seems that every single article pays special emphasis on Isla’s decision not to talk about Olive and sort of portrays her like she was being rude about it. I, for one, definitely respect her decision to not discuss her baby and private life in the press.
“I’m choosy, definitely,” Fisher says. “I’ve made a lot of product in my life that I’m not proud of. I’ve had to work. Now that I’m fortunate enough to get to choose, I’m fussy. Now, I don’t have to make decisions as much from fear. It’s given me freedom.”
Last but not least, check out this stunning image from the USA Today article on your left.
Speaking of Definitely, Maybe, I had the chance to see it today and it was absolutely charming. Even though I am generally not a big fan of romantic comedies, I really enjoyed this one. It had a lot of heart, delived the laughs and the cast was just wonderful. I may be biased but I especially adored Isla Fisher as April Hoffman. The character was multilayered and Isla made her feel very real. Plus, she had the best lines and her chemistry with Ryan Reynolds was great. This is one of Isla’s best performances - certainly one for all fans to see.
