Last night was the red carpet premiere for Now You See Me in New York City, and Isla and her co-stars were all in attendance! Isla looked incredible in a nude-coloured gown with black beaded detail, with her straight hair tied back in an up-do. I absolutely love this look on Isla, it’s so different for her, and it has immediately become one of my favourites of hers!
The first few HQ photos from the event can be seen in the Gallery, including a nice shot with co-star Jesse Eisenberg at the after-party. I will post more coverage from this event in the coming days!
Isla features in the pages of the June/July issue of Australian Harper’s Bazaar magazine, and thanks to our Aussie friend April, we have exclusive scans from the spread for you! The interview is mostly about Gatsby, and includes some great quotes from Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin about Isla. She also talks about her surprise at how her career has progressed, and that she considers her doppelganger Amy Adams a friend! Isla poses in various designer outfits in the brand new photoshoot. Check out our fabulous scans in the Gallery:
Isla graces the cover of the May 15th issue of UK Stylist magazine! It is yet another gorgeous, brand new photoshoot and accompanying interview. Read the interview at Stylist.co.uk or on our Press page, and find the cover and photoshoot pictures in our Gallery. If anyone can contribute scans of this then please get in touch, as we’d love to be able to see inside and share with everyone else
“The good thing about a drama is that everyone takes it seriously so you do feel like you can lose yourself in a scene. With comedy I can never do that because I’m always thinking ‘what’s something funny I could do now, how can I improvise, how can I make people laugh?’”
To continue our Cannes coverage, another 60+ photos from yesterday’s day events have been added to our Gallery. This includes lots more from the photocall, and a handful more from the press conference. Isla looks gorgeous, and I love the photos of her chatting to Leo!
Isla and her Great Gatsby castmates and crew opened the illustrious Cannes Film Festival today! All the lead cast (minus Jason Clarke it seems) plus Baz, Catherine Martin and screenwriter Craig Pearce attended a photocall for the movie first thing, followed by a press conference, and then a (rain-soaked) red carpet premiere this evening. Isla looked fresh and feminine in a little white dress by Dolce & Gabbana paired with Roger Vivier heels for the daytime press, and changed into a dramatic strapless red gown by Oscar de la Renta with a Bulgari Heritage necklace for the premiere. Both fantastic looks from her, and it’s so exciting seeing her premiere a movie at the Cannes Film Festival – surely a great moment for her
You can watch the official video footage from the photocall, press conference and premiere at the Cannes Film Festival website. Further down this post is an article about the opening day of the festival, and in our Gallery are the gorgeous first HQ photos from the days events – enjoy!
Big thanks to our friend Luciana for sending us a scan of Isla in the new issue of Total Film magazine, which you can now view in our Gallery. The magazine has a 1-page feature on Miss Fisher, spotlighting her new projects The Great Gatsby and Now You See Me. I was particularly interested to read that Isla auditioned for the movie Get Smart!
Isla promoted The Great Gatsby on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Monday night, and looked fabulous in a little black lace dress whilst doing so. The interview was equal parts hilarious and awkward … they talked about Isla’s short legs, flying planes, the movie, and a strangely shaped mug! You can watch it yourself below, and we will have a downloadable version for you very soon. And in our Gallery you can find pretty HD screencaptures!
Today we have photos from Isla’s appearance on Live With Kelly & Michael last week promoting Gatsby. After the Jimmy Fallon look I thought she couldn’t look any more beautiful, but she may have topped that look with this one, in a little white dress and super-cute hairstyle! The interview itself was good, with Isla chatting about her propensity to play slightly wild characters, showing Kelly & Michael how to eat vegemite, and then about the movie itself. Big, big thanks to our friend Colleen for making us a video of this appearance … the video will be up here for you asap, but for now I have added screencaptures to our Gallery. We also have HQ photos of Isla outside the studios where the show is taped, thanks to DeA, and a HQ still from the show.
So, lots more gorgeous Isla pics for you to enjoy, and I’m sure you will!
Last week Isla appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote The Great Gatsby, and I’ve now added a couple of stills plus HD screencaptures from the interview. Isla looked incredible in a low-cut fitted red dress, with her tousled hair left down – this is one of my favourite looks from her, without a doubt! The interview was short but sweet, with Isla talking about how she stayed silent during her audition for the film so as not to put Baz off her real personality, her excitement at the film opening Cannes, and filming in Australia with Leonardo DiCaprio.
Unfortunately I haven’t found a video that I can post here yet, but I will keep looking! If you come across one online then just leave a comment so we can share it with everyone else
Enjoy the HD caps of a particularly gorgeous Isla in the Gallery:
